After giving my wrists a rest for a little bit, though I am supposed to wait until Monday, I really am feeling good and couldn't wait to do something, so I started my tatting again. Not a lot, just a little at a time, and I am still wearing my braces like a good girl, and I am wearing them at night. They are helping a lot, my fingers aren't all tingly as often, and they definitely aren't going numb like they were.
With that being said, here is my motif number 6 for you all :) it is from the book "Tatting Patterns" by Lyn Morton, and it is called "Elegance" page 14. very easy to tat up and I think it came out really pretty. I used a #10 dmc cotton in soft yellow and it measures right in a 4 inch quilt square, the little points stick out just slightly more than that but not much :)
Happy tatting :) Bree

Elegance sure describes your tatted motif! It's beautiful! :)
ReplyDeletelovely motif, but keep resting your hand.
ReplyDeleteYou made a nice piece, but be careful Bree not to overdo.
ReplyDeletety all for your support :) I really am taking it easy on my wrists, I am not in good health to start with and my hand crafts ( knitting, tatting, crocheting etc) are something important to me because of my limited other choices of activities, so I really don't want to lose them. I do appreciate all the warm wishes and some of the emails I have gotten also, ty very much :)
