Motif # 25 of 25 :D

Well, I did it, I finished my  first  25 Motif challenge :)
Here is the last  piece, an edging.  It is a common edging,
though I have used my own stitch count and made up the
corner on the piece I am using on the hankie.

The Motif is in Lisbeth light blue size 20

and  you can see here, I am using this edging with the same count
for my hankie only I am doing it in Lizbeth white, size 20
and like I said, I made up the corner.  I am not real sure I like it as much
as I have liked some other corners, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do
and still keep it small and delicate with the rest of the edging.  any other
corner ideas with this simple edging would be appreciated, I take
all ideas .

I will keep everyone posted on the progress of this project :)
I am finding it isn't as boring as I thought it would be to just repeat
the same pattern over and over :) I am actually enjoying it.

I have another request, and it is a little hard to explain...
for anyone who knows what I am describing here... please help if you can.
I am looking for a pattern, I don't know how to describe it except what I would call
Lupine, like the flower, a long stem in the middle with equally
shaped "petals" (rings) opposite each other up the stem, progressively
getting slightly smaller as they go up... or, not necessarily smaller, I have
seen the same pattern with all the "petals" the same sized all the way up as well.
these stems have been used in purple for  flower stems, in green for leaf stems,
and in various browns yellows and tans for wheat and grass type stems.
if anyone knows what this patterns is called, or who has one, can you please help me with it?
I am sure I can fake it, but there is this particular one I am looking for

Thanks a ton in advance, Bree :)

  2. I think your edging is gorgeous! Sometimes simple is the best way to go. I think I know what pattern you're looking for, though I can't recall where I've seen it. If I figure it out before someone else, I'll drop you a line!
