Thank you and Motif # 8

I would like to thank every one of you for the warm and thoughtful comments
during my recovery!  I am very touched and really appreciate your loving care.
I am doing much better, I can now walk / shuffle around quite well,
I can take the stairs quite well also.  The bruising started to pool in my back and hip,
but we are working hard to break up those clots.  I still can not bend over to pick things up,
anything involving those muscles is still quite difficult.
My ankle is much better, and my wrist is much better also, but my finger
is still quite sore, I guess that is because we use our fingers so much, lol
My ribs under my left arm pit are still sore enough that when I sneeze it bring tears still,
so hopefully that will stop soon.  Over all, I am doing wonderful and progressing nicely :)

I am even able to sit at an angle, or on my right hip long enough to tat :D so, I have 4 pieces I
have done over the last 2 weeks :D and am excited to show you all!!!

But first, my sweet sweet hubbie bought something for me!
He went out for something and found these, and they are perfect, what a wonderful guy!

The first are 2 hankies, and I absolutely love the colors...

Next, is a set of 2 little doilies and a tea coaster, all tatted, the little tag on them was from the 1930's

And now for my Tatting I did, the first one is my pattern, Journey, with a few alterations, I am going to make a few of these.  I am making ornament packages for family members with different snowflakes in each package, of 5 or 6 snowflakes in each package.

the thread is Lizbeth, size 20 and called sherbet delight

the next is my Motif number 8.  it is from Jon's Elegant Tatting Gems book, and is called Zamrund, and it is one of my favorites!  I am making more of these for the snowflake packages for family, but so far these are mine.

All the threads are Lizbeth size 20

Alright, everyone have a wonderful day, and keep posting, I have enjoyed posting today, it is nice to be able to  be on here again :D and again, ty so much for all the wonderful super supportive mail I got :X
I love this community and the friends I have made here, and you have all touched my heart :X

My love to friends, Bri.

Happy tatting.

  4. I'm so glad you're feeling better! What a wonderful husband you have! I'm afraid mine wouldn't know to look for hankies, but that's okay... he has other wonderful qualities. : )

  8. Oh Bree, so glad your fall wasn't worse (is it accurate to call being thrown from a horse at full run a fall?) and that you are on the mend.

Keep up the healing and tatting during your down time. And kudos to hubby for such great attention to detail in his "love present" shopping!
