I use thread cards, not thought of pegs, although I have not seen these type of pegs for years, if I see some in the shops I will be buying them, it's a brilliant idea.
Wow! Clothespins!! Haven't seen those for years, although they probably have them in the kid's crafts area! And these have just a straight slot, rather than 'graduated' ones. They seem to make 'spring' operated ones these days, which is good for hanging clothes, but not for this purpose! The polished hardwoods would be best to avoid snagging. I like the jar idea!
